The most wonderful violin teacher ever of all times

How she puts up with the complete lack of intonation I inherited from my mother I don’t know, but somehow Tanya has had the patience to encourage me, and other musical hopefuls, along the long road toward Vivaldi (because, really, what else is worth playing in this life?)

Tanya’s son Luc, who’s already appeared on the fashionable stream of this blog, tied the knot this past December. I was given the great privilege of making the mother of the groom dress, and really enjoyed this one most of all the dresses I’ve made so far.

Though there were tears, blasphemous words and liters of blood…

I REALLY loved doing this dress, and am SO grateful for the patience with which Tanya endures our lessons.
