This was one of my more challenging, as well as enjoyable commissions. The brief was open (causing me no small amount of existential angst) and involved turning a skirt into a jacket. As well as knocking up some knock-about pants.
Oh how clients that are friends suffer! I take advantage of our friendship to let my hands go free and do what they will, knowing that my friends would feel too bad to chastise me for going off track, and taking a millennium to complete their commission.
I used the vent of the skirt to form the shape of the center front, of course adding my favourite stitch everywhere I felt inclined to.
Thanks so much for the business Eugenie! It really was a great joy to make these, and I’m so happy you love them as much as I do.
