I wake up so early to experience Thursdays, since from 10am to 10pm I tell people to take their clothes off. And they just do it, no-one even argues!

As you guys may know this year was a bit of a gamble for me. After a really difficult 2016 I had to take a serious look at the business and my life. I wasn’t making any money, and wasn’t sure if it was actually possible to keep a small tailor’s studio open in Pretoria.

But ‘Unrivalled Tailoring Services’ aka alterations, has been obscenely successful. Although my cellphone account did bounce this month…again…

One unfortunate, though inevitable result of The Green Tailor’s success is that I must even now get straight back behind the sewing machine! Thursday’s coming and there be a queue of gents needing to get their swagg on…

It’s my absolute favourite day of every week.
